I want to create a website that we can let our customers use to share files on projects with their consultants. Similar to [url removed, login to view] but with a few more features. A bulletin board backend is just fine if that's easy for you.
I need the ability to give my customers access to the site on a company level. Then they can create individual accounts for specific users inside of their company. Those users can then create projects that will be seen by all users of the account. The users need the ability to manage a folder structure and upload files into those folders. The users need the ability to create consultant accounts and give consultants access to the file and folder structure for the specific project they had been invited to. The users may want to allow the consultants to manage the folder structure and upload files as well. There needs to be an easy way for the company who owns the projects to see who has downloaded what and at what time.
The idea behind this project is that we have customers that are using FTP to share files on projects with consultants. They have a hard time managing files via FTP from an end user perspective and they have an even harder time tracking who has downloaded what. Our customers would like a website to manage and control the sharing of project files. They want to easily be able to run a report or see what files their consultant had or had not downloaded.

I found a program online that seemed similar to what I was looking for but I dobut it lets me run separate "workspace" areas for all my different customers, that's a feature I must have. Here is the app, [url removed, login to view]
I would love to be able to upload the site to a hosting provider without the need to host it here on a dedicated box. I currently have a relationship with A-Plus ([url removed, login to view]) so it would be great to see this work on ANY of their hosting solutions which vary from Unix to Windows and all can include MySQL.
