We have a set of scripts already done but somehow broken and need someone to fix up within next few hours. (script done in asp .net, dbase is ms sql 2005)
The app monitors Twitter search api, [url removed, login to view] every 30mins and counts instances of pairs of keywords, how often they appear. Then updates the ms sql 2005 dbase, and outputs to xml file for our flash to display the counter.
e.g. #sports + swimming or #sports + running or #sports + basketball.
So each time the "cron" is run, it will check previous 30mins, how many times the keywords appeared, and update the dbase.
However this is not working well now, we are not sure why.
You can see the example in screenshot and a video of another app with this feature.
[url removed, login to view]
We have an admin panel already, where we can define the primary keyword, which is e.g. #sports or #wc2010 and a set of secondary keywords which are fixed and cannot be changed.
In admin panel is also a threshold limit, e.g. only display results of those pairs of keywords with more than X number of tweets, otherwise the interface will be very messy.
