I have a flash gaming portal using a CMS to manage content. I would like to automate the pages the user sees.
Each page is already stored in the site according to category.
Each "game page" has a thumbnail image URL associated with the page and a short description of the game. These are stored in a database.
What I am looking for is a control that will allow me to set the category to display, how many thumbnail & descriptions to list, and with sort order options such as alphabetical or by creation date. I need to be able to control these settings through aspx page code, so that I may list several categorys or sort orders on certain pages such as:
10 newest games in X category.
Full list of games alphabetically.
Note a flag should be set telling it wether it should display sub categorys as well. i.e. actiongames has many sub category's, control should be able to display everything under that category if specified.
PM me for a detailed scope of work.
