I need assistance creating the XML required to import/insert an invoice in to QuickBooks in our office server from outside the network (via the internet). Essentially here is the setup:
We have a Windows 2003 server with QuickBooks 2010 installed on it in our office. This server is behind a hardware firewall on a static IP address. I need to know how to make a call from a remote server (our own webserver hosted in a seperate location) to insert an invoice in to out local quickbooks installation, using ASP/VBscript on the remote server to make the request.
I am an expert when it comes to programming ASP/Vbscript, I can configure the firewall, etc but just need some guidance as I have no time to research how to structure the XML request, what ports to use, how to configure QuickBooks to accept requests, etc.
There will likely also be other simple ongoing work required to query quickbooks for customer details, etc.
