This is the first component of a project therefore the successful bidder can expect a lot more work to complete the remaining components. Although my client has a vision as to what the final production will look like, at this stage it will be a project which is built in stages. This project would ideally suit an individual who is prepared to think laterally and work with an experienced database/c# programmer. Database experience is not necessary as the graphics is the most import aspect however the successful bidder will have to work with the C# person. My client wishes to explore the possibility of building a series of sets (emulating a town / seaside resort / city of buildings) for the purposes of hiding various objects and the website user has to locate the objects. The behaviour of the graphics is similar to how virtual games like Counterstrike etc. behave as in a person can walk down a street and go in and out of buildings.
the first component only has to comprise of a few scenes where there are some buildings and a person (mouse user) can move along the sidewalk/pavement and enter a building. Once in the building they can move around the walls and leave the building to go the next one. This first component is required so that my client can use as a short movie clip in a powerpoint presentation to show to his colleagues. The remainder of the components will be required to interface with a backend MSSQL database and the successful bidder will be required to integrate their skills with other team members
This is an exciting project and I know that if it proceeds to the remaining components, then the successful bidder will be well rewarded in addition to being paid for their work as it is completed.
There are no technical specifications therefore the successful bidder will be expected to work in a piece-meal fashion as the specs will be written on the fly as the project takes shape.
