We have use a Content Management System that already has a number of templates - the templates use a master CSS (.css) stylesheet which includes a handful of sub-stylesheets. The site and the CSSes display perfectly in IE but look awful in Firefox (FF).
The task is produce a common set of CSS files using the same include structure and file names as now, with the same style names, so that a single set of CSS files will display correctly in both IE and FF.
In total, all CSS files are about 25Kb including white-space and comments. We would expect 2 or 3 days work to complete this task as it is only aligning the CSSes to be compatible with FF.
We will send out the CSS files and a link to a running instance of the Content Server so that you can see it in action, but only to those bids we consider professional enough.
There is only *one* set of CSS files no matter how many pages the CMS generates. You will be remote given access to the CMS to upload the CSS files to conduct your own testing. You may save the generated CMS HTML to your local machine and work that way, but the acceptance test is that the CSS files you produce work in a test instance of the CMS in both IE (versions 5.x to 7.x) and FF (1.x).
During your work, you may feel free to stream-line the existing styles, if that enables you better complete the task.
Additionally, bids with no links to portfolios, will be discarded (as we cannot verify your work). Finally, you must be wiling to sign and return (fax or email) an NDA or confidentiality agreement (a legal formality).
