Both of these are search engine issues:
1) There are 3 different domain names pointing to my site, www.hill-country-visitor.com. They need 301 redirects. (see file below)
For the past year, I've had Spider Safe URL rewrite. Google loves it. However, Yahoo, and MSN still have old URLs in their index - we've had a couple of styles of URLs (see file below) - and we seem to be getting duplicate content penalties because of it. Yahoo has told me to:
1. Place 301 redirects on the old sites pointing to the new one.
2. Place a [url removed, login to view] file on the old sites telling us not to crawl them.
They mean URLs where they say sites.
I am sysadmin for longer years than I care to remember. This is easy and if I have the access to the server to upload the 301 - Permanent Redirection part, I can do the task in a few minutes - including the [url removed, login to view] Daha fazlası
