The cabling behind my media stand has become a tangled mess and half of the gear is no longer talking to each other. I need someone who can spend a focused session on-site tidying the wiring, labelling it clearly, and making sure every signal lands where it should. Here’s the current stack: a flat-panel TV, an IPTV box that needs to be set up from scratch, and a music system built around an amplifier driving passive speakers. I want the TV sound routed through the amp and speakers, the IPTV channels coming up on the correct HDMI input, and the whole lot powered up with the simplest possible remote flow. No additional receivers are involved, just these components and the cabling between them. Job scope – Trace every lead, replace or shorten where necessary, and re-dress them so nothing is visible from the front. – Configure the IPTV box, link it to the TV over HDMI, and confirm network connectivity. – Run audio from the TV into the amplifier (optical, HDMI-ARC, or analogue—whatever gives the cleanest result with the gear on hand). – Verify that video, stereo playback, and volume control all work flawlessly before you leave. You’ll need your own basic tools (cable tester, crimpers, spare HDMI/optical leads, zip-ties) and the know-how to troubleshoot common handshake issues between TVs, amps, and set-top boxes. Once everything is neat, I’d like a quick diagram or phone snapshot showing which input is which so I can keep it that way.
