We are seeking highly skilled mortgage broker support officers with prior experience assisting Australian mortgage brokers. Candidates with backgrounds in India and the Philippines are strongly preferred due to their extensive experience in these roles. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Supporting Brokers: You’ll interpret client applications, verify income and liabilities, and generate clear risk grades aligned with major bank and non-bank policies. • Financial statement analysis: Examining tax returns, BAS, PAYG summaries, and company accounts to confirm serviceability while identifying red flags early. • Risk evaluation and mitigation: Identifying potential hurdles like LVR, postcode issues, employment history concerns, or credit file problems—and providing practical solutions or alternative structures. Candidates should also stay updated on the Australian mortgage landscape by researching lender products, rates, policies across mainstream and specialist lenders—matching recommendations to each client’s unique needs. Key Deliverables include: 1. A concise credit memo summarising income, debts, servicing capacity, and recommended risk grade. 2. A product suitability matrix listing at least three lender options with pros/cons and policy notes. 3. A short recommendation outlining next steps or additional documents required. Requirements: - Turnaround of 24-48 hours per file - Work must be completed in English and formatted in Word/Excel for easy CRM integration. - Experience using ApplyOnline, Salesforce, Mercury (not mandatory but preferred).
