Groovy Script Needed

I need to create a groovy script that will run in parallel. I want to run a script A and while that is running, I want to run another script B in parallel. If script A fails I want it to fail the build, but if script B fails I want it to not fail the build.

Use case:

This script will run an ansible playbook to upgrade a certain component, while that is running, I want to run a smoke test in parallel.
