Freelance Debt Management Call Handler

Freelance Debt Management Communication Executive Company: Marathe CredCare Private Limited Work Mode: Remote Engagement: Freelance – Per Client Compensation: ₹800–₹1,000 per active client/month About the Role Marathe CredCare Private Limited is looking for freelance communication executives to handle bank/NBFC/recovery-agent calls on behalf of our authorised debt-management clients. Calls will be routed through our IVR/call-forwarding system. You will act as the communication point for the assigned client and handle lender/recovery-related calls professionally. Your Responsibilities - Receive incoming calls from banks, NBFCs and collection/recovery representatives. - Communicate professionally on behalf of Marathe CredCare. - Inform callers that the client has formally communicated financial hardship. - Collect the caller's name, designation, bank/agency and purpose of the call. - Understand and record any repayment, restructuring or settlement proposal. - Request important proposals/communications in writing where appropriate. - Maintain call records and update the assigned client's case information. - Escalate important matters to the Marathe CredCare team. - Follow the company-provided call script and SOP. Important You will NOT be required to: - Collect money from clients. - Visit clients. - Negotiate or finalise settlements independently. - Make promises regarding payment or settlement. - Threaten or argue with recovery agents. - Disclose confidential client information. - Make legal representations without authorisation. The role is primarily communication handling and documentation. Compensation ₹800–₹1,000 per active client per month The exact amount will depend on the assignment and responsibilities associated with the client. This is not an hourly salary position. You may be assigned multiple clients depending on performance, availability and business requirements. Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who: - Has excellent Hindi and English communication skills. - Marathi is an advantage. - Can remain calm during difficult conversations. - Has good telephone etiquette. - Can accurately document conversations. - Has experience in BPO, customer support, banking, collections or financial services — preferred but not mandatory. - Can follow a structured script/SOP. - Understands the importance of confidentiality.
