I am building a task management app in Bubble.io. I am currently in process of building out the app, however, I need a developer to help me with building out the recurring task development.
I have built out the database and started building out the UI. No UI work is needed. Here is the use case I need help with.
A task is set up with one of the following recurring options: none, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. If for example, the task is set up with a recurring option of weekly, once the status on the tasks is marked as “Done”, then a new task is created with the identical field of task name, time estimate, and client name. The task planned date and due date would be 7 days after the original tasks (since it is weekly).
For monthly tasks, the dates would be 1 month after. For quarterly, the dates would be 3 months after. And for yearly, the dates would be 12 months after.
The new tasks would all have set status of “Not Started” and the same recurring status.
