Building a Web User, Research Panel

Project Brief

Nielsen//NetRatings provides the industry’s global standard for Internet and digital media measurement and analysis.

We are seeking an Internet User Panel Acquisition, Project Manager, based in our central London office, starting ASAP. The brief will be to attract and retain panel members for our MegaPanel Product in each of our 3 markets (UK, France, and Germany), and expect that this brief will take around 6 months to execute.

The main functions of the Project Manager will be to

· Identify potential panel recruitment vendors; negotiate contract terms and pricing; manage and build these relationships.

· Develop, produce and manage promotions to both attract new panelists and retain existing ones

· Identify and implement initiatives to raise our visitor-to-member conversion rates and lower our dropout rates

We are looking for a Freelancer with skills in some or all of the following areas.

· Strong online marketing, online ad placement, and vendor negotiation skills

· Proven copywriting and promotions development expertise

· Direct Response marketing experience in each of our 3 markets a plus

· An understanding of how to measure the effectiveness of our various vendors and promotions and make strategic decisions based on these measurements

· Direct experience buying and placing online advertising in all three of these countries

· Fluency in English, French, and German

· Demonstrated experience with CPA, CPC and CPM ad models; Email, Coreg, Search Engine, and Affiliate marketing programs

· Ad agency or survey company experience

We will pay circa £20 per hour for this assignment and will engage on a freelance basis
