Freelance International Beverage Trader / Buyer-Sourcing Specialist Job Type Freelance / Commission-Based / Part-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Freelance Beverage Trader / Business Development Professional who has a strong network and experience in the wine, liquor, spirits, and beer industry. The person will be responsible for identifying and connecting with genuine international buyers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and trading companies who are interested in purchasing alcoholic beverage products. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new buyers and business leads for wines, liquors, spirits, and beer. Find genuine importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and beverage trading companies in international markets. Research companies and decision-makers who are actively looking to purchase alcoholic beverage products. Build and maintain a database of potential buyers and business contacts. Contact potential buyers through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other professional channels. Understand buyer requirements, including product type, quantity, price range, packaging, country of origin, and destination market. Generate qualified leads and introduce interested buyers to the company. Follow up with prospective buyers and support negotiations until the business opportunity is developed. Monitor international beverage markets and identify potential trading opportunities. Maintain regular reporting of leads, buyer requirements, communication, and business opportunities. Preferred Experience Experience in wine, liquor, spirits, beer, alcoholic beverages, FMCG, or international trading. Existing network of international buyers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, or beverage companies will be an advantage. Experience in B2B sales, export trading, international business development, or buyer sourcing. Strong knowledge of international beverage markets and trading practices. Good communication and negotiation skills. Ability to independently research and generate genuine buyer leads. Experience using LinkedIn, Google, trade directories, business databases, and email outreach for buyer identification. Ideal Candidate We are particularly interested in someone who: Already has contacts within the wine, spirits, liquor, or beer industry. Understands how international beverage trading works. Can identify serious and genuine buyers, rather than simply providing unverified contact lists. Has the ability to generate actual business enquiries and purchase requirements. Can work independently on a freelance/commission basis. Compensation Freelance / Commission-Based: Compensation can be discussed based on experience, lead generation, and successful business conversion.
