Business Development Executive - Freelance

I represent Jacob Engineers, a Chennai-based practice now expanding in Bangalore and Hyderabad, and I need direct, on-ground business development support. The assignment is simple but requires persistence: walk into the right offices, sit across the table from decision-makers, and convince them to hand us their next set of drawings. Target market Concentrate on organizations active in Real estate and Infrastructure—developers, EPC contractors, design-build houses, public-works bodies—anyone who routinely outsources design packages. Pitch focus During each conversation you will showcase our end-to-end capability: Architectural design excellence, robust Structural engineering, and seamless Project management integration. Stress our BIM workflow, local code compliance, and proven delivery record on mid-rise residential, commercial, and civic projects. Preferred approach Cold calls and email blasts are optional, but results must come from In-person meetings in Bangalore or Hyderabad. Face-to-face rapport and immediate follow-up is what converts leads in this market, so plan on regular site visits. Deliverables & commission trigger • Weekly visit log and pipeline update • Copies of all RFPs, proposals, and eventual work orders • Signed consultancy agreements Commission is paid as a fixed percentage of our professional fee once the client releases the first milestone payment. Success criteria Within the first three months you should secure multiple projects or a healthy pipeline that translates into billable work. Close the deal, and both of us earn.
