I need an experienced C# developer to finish developing an executable in C# that will generate page hits at websites that I specify. Now, I already have the C# code that generates page hits completed - it's done - except for utilizing proxy ip addresses. But, the main core functionality has been already completed.
Now, currently this executable uses a config file for all it's data input. However, I need somebody that can take this code and make it use a SQL database for it's data input. Afterwards - I will need you to convert this executable to a Windows Service. No changes in functionality for the Windows Service - so, this should be a simple conversion for those that have Windows Service experience.
That's it - I had a developer already do the hard part - the core functionality is already done and tested. All you have to do is to write some code that loops through some records that are already in the database so that it uses SQL as it's data input. Then you'll be copying this code to create a Windows Service.
Now, I will provide you with complete instructions on how to do this. In fact, I've attached a document to this posting that explains what has already been completed. This is the document that I gave the developer to write this core functionality - and he did everything except for the proxy ip address utlization - which you'll also have to do.
So, if you feel that you can do this project then I would love to hear from you - In addition, when you bid on this project you'll need to answer the following questions in order to be considered for this project:
1. How much C# experience do you have?
2. How much SQL Server experience do you have?
3. Why do you feel that you can work with somebody else's code that generates page hits on other websites?
4. How much experience do you have in creating stable Windows Services?
5. Are you a committed and dedicated work that is able to put in the necessary time to finish this project without any delays?
NOTE: Please answer these questions in order to be considered for this project. If you don't then your bid won't be taken seriously.
