I have an issue with the epson R220 Software Drivers. When you change an ink cartridge, which isnt a genuine Epson cart, the epson driver software pops up a nagging box, asking you to confirm that you wish to use the new cartridge, which isnt a genuine Epson Cart.
I am running windows XP on Kiosk locked down browsers, should a staff member click away from where the box pops up, it moves behind the browser, rederring the printer unuseable until you confirm the printer ink question.
Basically a small driver tweak, this isnt affecting any licensing law or anything.
With regard to the budget for this project, I don't know how long something like this would take, but need it done urgently.
By the way, you can disable the 'status monitor 3' in the advanced setting, however, this then means you can't see which cartridge has run out, which isnt an option.
Ive tried using a third party montior program, but again this is not reliable.
So to confirm I want to keep the ink level monitoring sotware but slighloy change it, so as that it won't pop up the confirmation box for non epson ink cartridges.
I await your replies.
