First part of a ISO-game Engine
We search a programmer who has already experience in graphic or game programming. This is the first part of a ISO-game Engine: basic scrolling, map-creation, lightsources, load/save tiles and simple editor.
The graphic artists create static-view 3D isometric MapTiles which are based on rectangled tiles in 128x128 pixel size. So to say it is a "2D"-game, no change of the viewing angle possible. These MapTiles will be arranged to form the map content. Actually the desired view angle is not 100% iso view but near it. Windows compatible from 98 to XP/VISTA.
Also in this first part is smooth map scrolling, you can compare it to the movement and scrolling of the game Diablo2.
Tasks: basic framework (DX8 or DX9) and implementing the basic class system for load/save of the map data, creating the map blitting with the ISO tiles (and also another version with flat tiles) and placing objects on map, lightsources, smooth scrolling/character-movement like Diablo2 with mouseclicks for ISO/flat, creating the editor as described for ISO- and flat-view.
The complete task is described in the DOC, serious bidders can get the preversion of the description document. About the price: it is only a part of the whole engine, my budget is around $220. Time: it should be done within 2-3 weeks. When all thing work out well, the next tasks can be given to the same programmer.
