Design and build of a micro controller based circuit that counts the number of times an object has been ‘hit’ and displays this number on an LCD display.
Detection of hits will be via a Piezoelectric, something like the ‘Piezo Sensor - LDT Series’ from meas-spec : [url removed, login to view]
There must be a 300 milli-second delay between ‘hits’ before a count can be registered. This is to stop the device registering multiple counts for a single hit.
The circuit must operate on a [url removed, login to view] button coin cell battery and must consume as little energy as possible.
There must also be a ‘Reset’ switch to reset the counter to Zero.
The entire circuit, excluding the LCD display must be no bigger than 10mmx3mm. The LCD display should be approximately 3mmx1.5mm.
I would like this mounted on a PCB, complete with schematics.
