Looking to be able to transfer files to an embedded processor, PIC24EP, using HTTP. I have an SPI microSD chip that is used for storage, so the use of a file system is necessary, preferably Microchip's own sample library called MDD. Basically, I need to be able to select files directly through my web GUI, hit OK, and the files get transfer to the SD card. Normally, this transfer method is called HTTP POST, other methods are ok, but I don't think it will work seamlessly with my GUI.
Using Microchip TCP/IP v5.42 stack with ENC424J600 Ethernet chip as a webserver, has Flash that's current used for the webpage storage (MPFS2). Alternate storage is SD card that I want file uploads to reside. Would be very helpful if you have your own hardware like Explorer 16 to test. But if you already done something very similar then this should be easy. Microchip has a MD5 example as well that looks promising for modification.
