I have recently developed an R package for specific statistical models. I would like to have a Python version of it. it is not very big package but I will give you tasks in chunks.
Here is the GitHub repository:

Let me explain what I would need for an initial task.
I would like to have a Python code that implements the function "reg_sgl" which is in R folder "fit_sgl.R" file. Now, it is not as easy as one function. In comes with several other R functions as well as several C++/Rcpp functions.
R functions to Python: reg_sgl; path_calc; sgl_fit (depends on cpp_sgl_fitpath which is C++ function); cvfolds.
C++ function to wrap up in Python (using something similar to Rcpp): cpp_sgl_fitpath (which depends on several other C++ functions in file src/[login to view URL]). Since C++ function should stay in C++ you would just need to link it to Python (something like Rcpp for R or mex for Matlab)
So linking c++ code to Pyohton
