The updater project is designed to allow users to be able to check for updated software versions for any software application (via file shortcut, shortcut in Start Menu or from the Help menu of your application).
When built from source code, it should contain two files: [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]
[login to view URL] is the main updater program to be used for checking for updates. In order to properly work, it needs an ini file we should call "[login to view URL]".
This INI file should contain all information needed to update a software app: Name, Version, Product GUID, URL, etc.
To create this ini file, a second tool is needed: updater_configuration.exe. There you add all the required data in edit boxes in this MFC APP.
This app also creates and [login to view URL] file that contains the information about the new version, new ver number, link to download this new version, release notes, etc
How Does [login to view URL] work?
When [login to view URL] is launched [login to view URL] does the following:
1. Reads the program info from [login to view URL] and extracts the currently installed version of program (from Regsitry, Main Executable, or [login to view URL]);
2. Downloads the Update Information File ([login to view URL]) from specified URL;
3. Compares new version number and currently installed version number of the program;
4. Prompts to download if it is newer or exits.

Please understand we own the copyrights and the source code since we pay for the project. Please do not bid if this is far from your understanding.
Deliverables: all source code and documentation of this project, including but not limited to drawings, UML diagrams, associated files we need or we discuss upon, etc.
When compiled this should create the above two applications that do the update and create the associated (ini and txt) files.
When programing the MFC visual interface (DLG based app), please use controls not mapped integers to controls. ex: cbutton or ccombobox not int m_combobox_ctrl;
