I am managing product development on a team where nobody has specific experience interfacing an STM32F using the FSMC option.
In short, our product has a networking subsystem running on a STM32F4. I want to ensure that we have a fast interface with our an AllWinner A64 motherboard.
Here is a link to this motherboard:

The SOPINE A64 will be driving a 400x1280 TFT display, a capacitive touchscreen, and a few environmental sensors. The STM32F is concentrated on the task of RS485 networking.
The general consensus with the team is that we can just interface these two subsystems via USB and that the interface will not have latency issues.
My idea is to cover us in case the former statement is not true.
We already have the STM32F4 IO pins available on a connector that can be used to accomplish the FSMC interface, and we have plenty of GIO available on the SOPINE.
Your job is to advise how to properly implement this FSMC in hardware, and potentially assist with the software interface.
I'll preempt the first question that I think many may have: "Why have the RS485 subsystem at all?" "Why not just let SOPINE do it all?". Answer: There is a very good reason and we can't do that. ;)
Also, we cannot share existing schematics before you are hired.

hello i am interested in your project. i have already used the FSMC option to interface an stm32ff429 with a NAND Flash ( 34ML02G104TFI010). we can discuss more details in a private chat. regards.
