This is an interesting job to work on. However, to optimize the product's firmware, first need to validate whether the hardware has been designed as per low power schemese. Also in order to optimize the firmware, I would need you to send a prototype for development purpose and I have adequate measuring tools to verify the low power consumptions and validate the desired low power consumptions. we can discuss all these plan if interested.
