We intend to revolutionize the way people interact with virtual reality worlds and in order to achieve that goal, we're building a prototype to show off at tech conferences and trade shows. A key component of our system is UDP communication over a local WiFi network.
We are seeking a software engineer to write a networking library based on an existing protocol, including handshakes and two-way packet-based communications. The ideal candidate would be experienced in developing for both Unreal (C++) and Unity (C#), but a proven track record in coding for at least one of those engines is essential. We also require the candidate to have a solid understanding of both UDP and multi-threading.
There will definitely be more work available if this project is successfully completed. So if you're excited by virtual reality, augmented reality and the future of entertainment, this is a great entry into a fast-growing new sector.
