Someone on the ground has to see the level and refill the reservoir without climbing the machine. So I'd place the pump and reservoir low on a side that's easy to reach. Lines along the boom and stick need a slack loop at each pivot and I'd check it with the arm at full reach. Without it they stretch or rub through in the field. First I'd mark every grease point on the trial machine's photos and drawings. Then I'd build a 3D layout of the pump and lines over the machine. You'd get AutoCAD installation drawings with clear views a fitter can follow. The 3D bracket models come with a STEP and a parts list. I'm based in New Delhi and work in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Which machine is the trial and do you have photos of it with the boom at full reach as well as folded?

I understand you need a skilled engineer to design custom automatic lubrication systems for heavy machinery, similar to the progressive and single-line systems I've engineered for mobile equipment in the past, resulting in [mention a specific, quantifiable benefit like reduced downtime or extended component life]. My expertise directly aligns with your requirement for designing complete systems for excavators, loaders, and other demanding applications. My approach involves leveraging CAD software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD for detailed 3D modeling and P&ID creation. I'll meticulously analyze the operational requirements of each machine, selecting appropriate pump types, metering valves, and distribution blocks, ensuring component compatibility and optimal lubricant delivery. I'll then develop comprehensive BOMs and installation schematics for seamless integration. To ensure a perfect fit, could you elaborate on the specific operating environments your machinery typically encounters (e.g., extreme temperatures, dust ingress)? Also, are there any existing lubrication system standards or preferred component manufacturers you adhere to? I'm eager to discuss how my technical proficiency can deliver robust and efficient lubrication solutions for your fleet.

The machine integration is the constraint here, so I will design the progressive lubrication systems and single-line lubrication systems directly onto the excavator, loader, dozer, grader, tractor, harvester, or crusher. I'll use AutoCAD for the layout and detail drawings. I will identify and map all lubrication points on the specific machine you provide, and determine the required grease quantity and lubrication frequency for each point. The main failure point is incorrect grease delivery to the points, so I specify the exact pump size, line diameter, and fitting type for each component in the design, also I will ensure proper manifold design to distribute grease evenly. Do you have the CAD models for the specific machinery you want these systems designed for? Preferred Freelancer here, 5.0 over 10 reviews, no missed deadline and nothing over an agreed price yet. I will send back the complete CAD drawings and a Bill of Materials once you provide the machine models.

Grease points on an excavator versus a harvester differ a lot, so I'd first ask what you actually have: do you already hold machine drawings or models, or must the lubrication point map come from photos and manuals? That decides the effort. I designed tooling and fixtures for an aluminum profile cutting line, plus drawings and specs. Progressive vs single-line also depends on line length and grease type, and $25 covers only a sketch, not a full system.

Automatic grease systems on mobile plant fail in the field when progressive or single-line layouts ignore hose routing, divider block placement, and real grease-point access on excavators, loaders, and similar machines. A clean schematic that cannot be installed around cylinders and guards is not a finished design. I would map the machine grease points, choose progressive or single-line topology to match your duty cycle, then deliver CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD as needed) covering pump, lines, dividers, and fittings through to each point, with notes for install clearance on typical heavy equipment. I regularly produce manufacturable mechanical CAD for mobile equipment interfaces where installability matters as much as the circuit theory. Which machines are first (make/model or class), and do you already have a preferred pump brand or divider-block family I should design around? Ridwaan M

Progressive lubrication and single-line design: I’ll engineer complete automatic grease systems end-to-end—mapping lubrication points from photos/manuals, calculating grease quantity/frequency, and selecting divider/injector sequencing, pump sizing, and outlet configuration for mobile machines (excavators, loaders, tractors, crushers, mining equipment). I’ll also design primary/secondary grease lines with correct pressure/flow and cycle requirements, plus pressure and system-failure monitoring. CAD deliverables: I will produce installation-ready 2D CAD drawings, 3D mounting concepts where required, hose routing, circuit diagrams, and a full BOM with part numbers, components, and field commissioning instructions. Integration approach: Although my core background is embedded/PCB design, I can support optional electrical/control elements (monitoring inputs/outputs, sensors, fault logic) alongside your lubrication hardware design.

Deliver engineered automatic grease lubrication systems you can install—complete with progressive or single-line circuit design, divider/injector sizing, hose routing, 2D CAD, 3D mounting concepts, and BOM with part numbers. I’ll map lubrication points from photos/manuals, calculate flow/pressure/cycle and total grease, then design monitoring for pressure/failure plus electrical/control where required. I bring embedded-systems rigor to field reliability: requirements capture, control logic design for pump/cycle monitoring, and hardware interfaces (CAN/RS485/IO) when needed. While my core is electronics, I partner this with mechanical lubrication calculations to ensure correct outlet count, sequencing, primary/secondary line sizing, and component selection aligned with Lincoln/SKF/Graco/BEKA/DropsA-style architectures.
