I am working on a project involving sheet metal fabrication (1.2mm Carbon Steel), and I need help troubleshooting an issue with bending in SolidWorks and on my CNC press brake machine. Here's what I have: Fiber Laser: 1.5KW BM110 Bending Machine: Electro-hydraulic press brake with SCS920 system (I've attached a video and PDF with details of the SCS920 system). Punch and Die Details: I also have information about the punch and die I use for the press brake, which I've included. Despite these, the bending results are not coming out correctly (please see the attached images for reference). I tried modeling the part in SolidWorks, and I've attached the STEP file as well, but the bending is not accurate. What I Need: I'm looking for an experienced user with knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, CNC bending, or SolidWorks who can: Identify the problem with the bending process (either in the model or machine setup). Help troubleshoot the issue in SolidWorks or on the physical machine to achieve correct bending. Please refer to the attachments for additional context. If you have experience in sheet metal, bending, or SolidWorks, I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.
