Hi, I’m a Mechatronics Engineer (MSc in Robotics & AI) with 8+ years of experience in electronics, embedded systems, robotics, and technical troubleshooting. My background includes developing and validating embedded hardware, working with sensors and control systems, and diagnosing electrical and system-level issues. I’m comfortable with hands-on equipment testing, mission preparation, and structured technical reporting. My approach: ✅ I will inspect and prepare the robotic platform, checking power systems, sensors, communication links, mechanical connections, and mission readiness. ✅ I will follow operational procedures for safe deployment, recovery, and real-time mission monitoring in coordination with the Teleops team. ✅ I will perform field diagnostics, identify hardware or communication faults, and document corrective actions systematically. ✅ I will maintain mission logs, performance observations, photographs, and equipment status reports. Questions: ✅ What specific robotic platform, control interface, and diagnostic tools are used during deployment? ✅ What are the expected operating hours, night-shift frequency, and travel requirements around Vancouver? ✅ Does the role involve routine maintenance and hardware repairs, or primarily deployment and mission support? I’m interested in contributing my engineering background to Hullbot’s field operations and would be glad to discuss the technical requirements. Best, Yaroslav

Hello Hullbot team, I’m a Mechanical/Mechatronics and Embedded Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting robotic, automated and connected systems. Hullbot’s work strongly interests me because it combines robotics, mechanical systems, electronics, embedded control and real-world field operations. My relevant experience includes: - Robotics and automated machine development - Mechanical design and fabrication - Motors, actuators, sensors and control systems - ESP32/STM32 embedded systems - Industrial automation and troubleshooting - Sensor integration and telemetry - Prototype assembly, testing and field debugging - Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis - Technical documentation and mission/test reporting I’m comfortable working hands-on with complex equipment, preparing systems before operation, monitoring performance during testing, identifying faults and working methodically through hardware and software issues. I also enjoy working across disciplines rather than focusing only on one engineering area, which I believe is important when operating autonomous robotic systems in real-world environments. I would be very interested in discussing how my robotics, mechanical and embedded engineering background could contribute to Hullbot’s operations and future deployment activities. Please note that I would need to confirm the Vancouver location and Canadian work-authorization requirements based on my current situation. Best regards,

Hi Hullbot team, I’m very interested in this opportunity. I’m a Senior Software Engineer with a strong technical background, and I enjoy hands-on work with hardware, systems, troubleshooting, and new technology. What interests me most about this role is that it is not just software work. It involves working directly with autonomous robots, supporting live missions, preparing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and being part of real-world operations. That is exactly the kind of technical environment I enjoy. I’m comfortable learning new systems quickly, following operational procedures, documenting results clearly, and working independently while staying connected with a remote technical team. My software and engineering experience also gives me a strong understanding of system behaviour, debugging, APIs, data, automation, and technical problem solving. I’m also comfortable with travel, flexible working hours, field work, and night operations when required. I understand the role requires someone based in or around Vancouver with the right to work in Canada, and I can discuss my availability and work status directly with you. I’d be very interested in learning more about the robots, the deployment process, and the training program. I can also provide my resume for review.

Dear Hullbot Team, For underwater robotic operations, success depends on more than operating the robot—it requires careful equipment preparation, reliable field execution, troubleshooting and accurate reporting to ensure every mission is completed effectively. I have 11+ years of electronics/product-development experience across 500+ assignments involving robotics hardware, embedded systems, sensors, motor control, communications, hardware troubleshooting and prototype validation. My relevant strengths include: Robot Electronics → Sensor Interfaces → Motor/Actuator Systems → Power → Communications → Fault Isolation I would focus on disciplined pre-mission checks, connector/cable integrity, communication stability, sensor condition, fault logging and structured post-mission reporting so issues can be reproduced and resolved quickly by the wider engineering team. I can support hardware troubleshooting, electronics diagnostics, technical documentation, remote engineering analysis and robotic-system integration. I want to be transparent: I am currently based in India and therefore do not meet your stated Vancouver-based/right-to-work-in-Canada requirement for this field-technician position. Profile: https://www.freelancer.in/u/ElectronicsMust If you also engage remote engineering partners for electronics, PCB, hardware troubleshooting or fleet technical support, that would be a much stronger fit for my background. Kind Regards, Avi Gupta Quality is never an accident

You need a Vancouver-based technician who can deploy autonomous underwater hull robots reliably on real commercial vessels—not just in a lab. I’m Edison Thornton, a multidisciplinary engineer with 10+ years across embedded firmware, electronics, mechanical systems, and field testing, built for hands-on troubleshooting and mission readiness. I’ve designed and deployed complete hardware systems end-to-end: STM32/ESP32/Arduino firmware (C/C++), sensor integration, circuit design in Altium/KiCad, and mechanical modeling in SolidWorks with FEA/thermal validation in ANSYS. I’m comfortable working around ports, vessels, water conditions, and producing clear mission reports with photos plus performance summaries. I can support live robotic missions, perform field checks, and maintain a local fleet between deployments, coordinating with remote Teleops for autonomous operation.

Turning “cool underwater robots” into reliable hull-deployment on real commercial vessels is the transformation I can help deliver. I’m Sophie Sadowski, a mechatronics & embedded product developer in/around Vancouver—comfortable moving from SolidWorks/ANSYS concepts to firmware, sensors, and hands-on field operation. At Hullbot, I’d bring mechanical-electronics troubleshooting for robot readiness: pre-mission checks, basic fault isolation, live mission monitoring, and rapid recovery during deploy/recover cycles around ports and vessels. I can operate the robots directly when required, interpret performance, capture mission photos, and compile clear robot performance reports for Teleops. Given your training + remote support model, I’ll plug in quickly and help build the Vancouver/NA operational rhythm. Night operations and travel are fine, and I’m legally able to work in Canada.

We can achieve reliable underwater deployments in Vancouver if we combine hands-on marine robot ops with rigorous embedded systems troubleshooting. I’m Corey Perez, an Embedded Hardware Architect & Control Systems Specialist, and I’ve built real-time control firmware in C/C++ on STM32/NXP/Microchip using FreeRTOS, plus sensor fusion (IMU/GPS/encoders) and high-precision motor control (PID/FOC). I also design robust electronics with Altium/OrCAD and protection/power management, so when Hullbot robots surface mission data or flag issues, I can rapidly diagnose readiness and performance. On your commercial vessels, I can support deploy/recover workflows, prepare equipment, run field checks, and assist Teleops during live missions—then produce clear mission reports with photos and robot performance summaries. I’m comfortable around ports, water, and night operations (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) and can travel as required, with strong oral and written communication.
