Our previous TCEQ permit covered the use of produced fresh water from our oil wells for irrigation. That authorization has now lapsed, and we want to replace it with a new permit that will allow the same water to be discharged directly to a receiving water body and flow off-site naturally. What I can supply up-front is only a copy of the original permit; we have no history of compliance problems under that authorization, so the record with TCEQ is clean. Everything else—forms, engineering calculations, maps, effluent characterizations, public-notice language, and any supporting studies—will need to be prepared from scratch and packaged in a submission that TCEQ will accept without revision. Please outline: • The specific documents you will generate (e.g., TPDES application sections, NOI, BMP plans). • Any sampling or analytical work you will need us to perform on site. • A realistic timeline for internal draft, my review, and final filing. I will consider the job complete once TCEQ confirms the application is administratively complete and issues an authorization number.

With 6+ years of experience in technical documentation, environmental project support, engineering coordination, and regulatory submissions, I can help prepare the documentation package for your new TCEQ discharge authorization. I can coordinate and prepare: • TPDES permit application documentation • Site/location maps and supporting exhibits • Effluent characterization and sampling requirements • Engineering calculations and discharge-flow information • BMP/SWPPP-related documentation where applicable • Receiving-water and outfall information • Public-notice and administrative completeness materials • A consolidated submission package with a clear document checklist I’ll first review the previous TCEQ permit and use it as the baseline, then identify exactly what has changed and what additional information/sampling is required for the new discharge authorization. Any field sampling, laboratory analysis, flow measurements, or site-specific engineering data required from your team will be clearly listed before preparation. I can structure the work as: 1. Initial permit/document review 2. Data and sampling requirements 3. Draft application and supporting calculations 4. Your review and revisions 5. Final submission package and response to administrative-completeness comments I’m available to start immediately and can provide a realistic schedule once I review the previous permit and confirm the receiving water, discharge point, flow characteristics, and available site data.

Hi, I can prepare your new TCEQ TPDES permit for direct discharge of produced fresh water to a receiving water body. From your original permit copy, I will prepare from scratch: - Core Data Form, TPDES Individual Permit Application Forms 10055/10056, Plain Language Summary - Site, flow path, and outfall maps, receiving water segment identification - Process description, water balance, effluent characterization table, BMP plan - NORI/NAPD public notice language, landowner map and mailing list - Complete STEERS-ready package What I need from you: - Site access for outfall coordinates and field sampling - Lab analysis from NELAP lab for TDS, TSS, chloride, sulfate, pH, oil & grease, metals, BTEX as per TCEQ screening Timeline: - Draft in 2-3 weeks after sampling plan issued - Your review 1 week - Final filing in Week 5-6. Administrative completeness per TCEQ typically 30-60 days after filing. I have experience with TCEQ industrial wastewater and produced water authorizations and can deliver a technically complete package sealed by TX PE if needed. Let's review your original permit to confirm receiving water and start the sampling plan. Best regards

Hello, the main challenge is rebuilding the discharge authorization package from the expired permit while establishing the technical basis, effluent characterization, receiving water requirements, and documentation TCEQ will need for administrative completeness. I would structure the application around the applicable TPDES requirements, engineering calculations, site maps, sampling data, BMP documentation, public notice materials, and supporting technical studies, with clear coordination of any required field data. The existing permit and clean compliance history provide a useful starting point for reconstructing the previous authorization and identifying what must be updated for the proposed discharge. Also a quick question, has the receiving water body and proposed discharge point already been identified, or would those site details also need to be established during the application process? Best Regards, GridSmithLTD
