I need help with what to write for my job experiences and skills for my new resume. I have owned my own company for almost 16 years since the fall of 2001 and currently still own the business in Illinois. Life has brought me to LA so I am looking for a Sales job in the area. I was a stay home mom during the whole time I owned my business and only worked the company part time. I handle all operations of the company. I wore all hats including working the jobs climbing scaffolding that was 40 feet high. I was very active in the community like Chamber of Commerce and joined networking groups and spoke at several events about my company. I am just not good at writing my skills out because I only worked my business part time. Not sure how to brag on myself but it's not like I was raking in tons of money either but I am great at sales. Closing rate was 80% if I met the customer.
