We are looking for a senior DTC ecommerce CRO and retention specialist to help us improve conversion rates, early retention, and customer lifetime value for a fresh meal delivery brand. This is a hands-on execution role — not strategy or consulting. We need someone who can identify high-impact tests, run them intelligently, and deliver measurable results across our core metrics: CVR, first-box drop-off, first-to-second purchase rate, and overall CLTV. Requirements: - 10+ years of DTC ecommerce CRO and retention experience - Proven track record improving CVR from low baselines (e.g. 1% to 3–4%) - Experience improving first-to-second purchase rates through structured testing - Hands-on experience with physical insert strategies and post-purchase offer optimization - Strong understanding of subscription conversion, reorder journeys, and QR-based reorder paths - Ability to design, run, and measure A/B and single-variable tests - Experience measuring cohort-level CLTV impact and guardrail metrics (refund rate, churn, margin) - Familiarity with fresh food, meal kit, or subscription box brands is a strong plus Deliverables: - Prioritized test roadmap targeting CVR, first-box performance, and repeat purchase rate - Execution of first-box insert and reorder journey tests - QR-based reorder path design and implementation - Subscription conversion offer testing within the first delivery experience - Regular reporting on test results with clear lift metrics and cohort analysis - Recommendations for scaling winning tests and sunsetting underperformers This is an ongoing engagement billed hourly. We expect fast ramp-up and are ready to assign a priority task immediately. About the project: We are a fresh meal delivery brand focused on growing repeat purchase behavior and subscription conversion, and we need a specialist who can move quickly and prove results through data.
