I have a writing job just come up, details as follows: * 10 short articles (approx 400 words each) required for an autoresponder series * general subject is web hosting * titles and outline for each one will be provided * need to be able to write in perfect English (as in English is your first language and you understand and can use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation) * with a relaxed slightly informal approach ( trying to make technical subjects appear as simple as possible avoiding jargon and 'industry-speak' - aimed at the 'average web user') * need to understand how to portray feature-benefit, showing 'what's in it' for the reader * $40 for series of ten articles * more work available on a regular basis for someone who is reliable and can provide good quality work When you reply please include a couple of paragraphs on why you would be the right one to work with on this and future projects to show us an example of your writing style (approx. 100 words). After many previous disappointments, I need to know you can use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. Once I know your English and writing style match what we are looking for, I am looking for someone who is reliable and dependable. If you say you are going to do something by a certain date then that should happen. Willingness to learn is also an important factor. As you submit articles I'll let you know any changes that we need and offer any comments on style or content to help us get the finished work as it needs to be. You will need to adapt your writing style and content to take account of these amendments for future work, which will help us both.
