I'm using an old Dephi "show-hoster" media player for some music and karaoke systems, which plays out through Bass Player. I do not have the original source code, but the compiled exe seems to be unprotected. (I have already tested simple changes to resources using a resource editor.)
I need to inject "silence detection" into the chain, in order to cue past the 5 - 10 seconds or more silence at the beginning of the karaoke tracks. I know this is possible for this player, because I've seen it done a few years ago by another developer, using (I seem to remember) some kind of C++ wrapper, but sadly he and his code have long since disappeared from GitHub.
There is silence detection code for Bass Player on the Un4Seen forum in C++, but my own coding skills are limited and mostly in C#, so I have little experience with C++ or Dephi, and wouldn't know where to inject it.
I'm looking for a Delphi developer who could do the project.
If you have the required experience, and are interested, please contact me and I will send you the files. Once you've checked it out, you can send me a quote for the work.
