C++ QT Developer for custom GUI application development in Windows and OSX using QML.

Hello I am a macOS and Windows desktop application developer, working in this field for over 10 years. I have worked with Qt/C++ dev for quite a long time (mostly QtWidgets and, to a lesser extent, QML). One of the large-scale apps I've built was a Data Recovery app for Windows written solely in Qt (please take a look at my portfolio). It also involved a lot of styling. I believe I have good UI and UX design skills. Coming from a Mac world, I am attentive to details in terms of user experience, and in my apps I always try to make them feel native for the user on a particular OS. I have also created highly customized UIs for desktop apps using both native OS frameworks (Cocoa/WPF and even OpenGL-based UI). I have experience with dealing with high-res retina displays on different systems. My code is clean, commented, well-structured and well-designed. May I ask what kind of application are you building and tentatively how large/long the project is? Seeing your preference being QML, it must be something very specific and non-native looking?

Hello. I have 8 years of experience with Qt/Qml. I started to use Qt Quick 1.1 in 2011 when Qt just introduced this technology. I'm a big fan of QML because it is possible to create/update nice UI quickly, connect UI with C++ and focus mostly on C++ logic. My big hobby Qt/QML project is multimedia player CherryPlayer built on Qt/Qml. Please install CherryPlayer and test memory usage/CPU perfomance. I have experience with old Qt 4.8 and new Qt 5.13. Also I have experience with skinning application, creating application with rounded borders and support in the same time Windows AeroSnap functionality, I built a lot of QML components from scratch (Qml treeview, dragdrop, sliders and other missing controls in QtQuick 1.1) Also I have experience with ffmpeg and DirectShow, InnoSetup installer.
