Your project is very close to the work I already do: developing science fiction from the idea stage through worldbuilding, character development, story structure, and finished prose. I have completed a 60,000+ word original science-fiction novel, Valley of the Starships. I posted Chapter 20 in my Freelancer Community Articles so you can read an actual sample of my science-fiction writing before deciding whether my voice fits your project. My approach is collaborative. I would begin with the premise, world, characters, central conflict, and rules behind the speculative elements. From there we can establish the major story beats and narrative voice before drafting scenes or chapters. I'm comfortable researching scientific and technological concepts and separating established science from speculation. My science-fiction work frequently begins with real scientific ideas and develops the fictional possibilities from them. I also think about stories cinematically and can incorporate screenwriting structure where useful. Please take a look at Chapter 20 of Valley of the Starships.
