Surplus Funds Recovery Agent (Remote) – CRM Management, Research & Claimant Outreach Project Description: We are seeking a dedicated Surplus Funds Recovery Agent to assist with locating and contacting individuals who may be entitled to claim surplus funds from tax sales, foreclosure sales, and other government-held funds. This is a long-term remote position for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Compensation * $2.00 per hour * Performance-based commissions * Monthly bonuses for productivity, attendance, and results * Opportunity for long-term growth Primary Responsibilities CRM Management (Excess Elite CRM) * Manage and update claimant records in Excess Elite CRM * Track lead status and claimant communications * Maintain accurate notes and documentation * Update contact information and claim progress * Organize follow-up schedules and reminders * Monitor pipeline activity and claim stages Lead Research & List Management * Pull and organize surplus funds lead lists from various states * Review county and court records * Research claimants and heirs * Verify available surplus funds amounts * Maintain state-specific tracking spreadsheets * Upload and organize new leads within the CRM Investigative Research * Utilize OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) research techniques * Locate claimants using public records and online databases * Search for phone numbers, addresses, relatives, and social media profiles * Verify identities and contact information * Document all findings inside the CRM Claimant Outreach * Initiate contact with claimants by phone, text, email, and social media * Conduct follow-up communications * Schedule appointments and consultations * Explain the surplus funds recovery process * Record detailed notes from conversations Mail & Marketing Coordination * Prepare mailing lists for postcards and direct mail campaigns * Track mailed postcards and responses * Coordinate mailer campaigns * Assist with organizing door-knocking assignments * Verify addresses before field outreach Administrative Duties * Data entry * File organization * Quality control of lead information * Reporting daily activities and progress * Maintaining confidentiality of claimant information Requirements * Strong English communication skills * Reliable internet connection * Ability to learn new software quickly * Experience with CRM systems preferred * Research and investigative mindset * Attention to detail * Self-motivated and dependable Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage a large number of leads, conduct detailed research, and help move claimants through the surplus funds recovery process efficiently.
