I am actually looking for a collaborator for an AR project, and want to get a feel for options and potential costs.
I have a client that wants me to make them a series of AR's. Just as pitching tools at first and eventually hosting the AR's properly. Do you have much experience with Unity and String, nd do you own licenses for these?
The first project is an exploded view car with a driver inside with interchangeable heads/faces. In theory I can create this one myself using Cinema 4D with either Inglobes ARmedia using AR layers to switch heads. However in ARmedia layers do not work on IOS or Android so it is not ideal.
If I provide all 3D assets and animated content, low poly-modelled and pre-baked can you please advise on cost with regards to the Unity/String side of the project?
The second project is more programming than modelling/animation which is the main reason for looking for outside help. The client wants either an interactive rubiks cube, which I am discouraging due to complexity, or what might be simpler is an interactive whack'a'mole game using a selection of AR markers and touch sreen as hammer.
