local host required in Mexico (home or office) -- 2

@AwaisChaudhry

Hello, I can provide a secure indoor location in Mexico with dependable mains power and fixed-line Wi-Fi, keeping all five phones online continuously. I understand the setup is pre-configured: once received, I will connect the devices, verify power and network stability, monitor their availability, and perform manual reboots when requested. My Network Administration experience will help me maintain reliable connectivity and quickly identify basic connection or device issues. I am also comfortable with Internet of Things (IoT) nodes and practical Troubleshooting, while the General Labor involved, safe placement, cabling, and routine checks, will be handled carefully. Which city in Mexico will host the devices, and what uptime, monitoring, or reboot-confirmation requirements should be followed? Please share the city/area in Mexico, expected internet uptime requirements, and whether any monitoring or reboot confirmation process is required. Regards, Muhammad Awais

I can reliably provide the secure, always-on environment you need for your 5 nodes in Mexico. My setup is similar to projects requiring consistent uptime and physical device management, ensuring your phones function as intended without interruption. My approach involves utilizing a dedicated, stable power source with a UPS backup to guarantee continuous operation even during brief outages. The fixed-line internet connection will be actively monitored for stability, and I'll implement a simple script for remote reboot commands if needed, in addition to manual reboots upon request. Devices will be housed in a secure, climate-controlled indoor space. What are your anticipated operational timelines for this project? Would you be open to a brief call to discuss specific location considerations and confirm my ability to meet your connectivity requirements?

Hi, I’m interested in supporting this project and can take responsibility for keeping the 5 phones/nodes running reliably on-site. I understand the requirements are straightforward: • Provide a safe, secure indoor location for all 5 devices. • Keep them powered on and connected to stable Wi-Fi/internet 24/7. • Perform manual reboots or basic checks whenever requested. • Handle the devices carefully and ensure they remain operational. Since the phones are already pre-configured, I can simply connect them to power and the network and maintain them according to your instructions. I’m comfortable following technical procedures and responding promptly if any device requires attention. Although the requirement is specifically for Mexico, I can work very effectively with clear remote instructions, monitoring requirements, and scheduled checks. I’m also experienced with web technologies, servers, networking, and troubleshooting, so I can be more useful than someone providing only basic physical hosting if any technical issue occurs. Please let me know the expected internet speed, power requirements, location requirements, and how often manual intervention is normally needed. I’m ready to discuss the setup and responsibilities in detail. Thank you.

The decision is how to manage the phones, whether to use existing device management software or a custom script. I would go with a custom script written in Python. This serves your need for direct control and keeps the system simple. I will set up a dedicated space in my home office with constant power and a stable fiber optic internet connection. The five phones will be kept plugged in and powered on continuously, also performing manual reboots when you request them. The failure this job is most likely to hit is inconsistent internet connectivity. I will use a dedicated business-grade internet line with a backup cellular modem so the phones stay connected. Do you have any specific network configuration requirements for the phones, beyond them needing to be online? I have a 5.0 rating across 10 reviews on here, and Preferred Freelancer status. Let's schedule a short call on Freelancer to cover the exact space setup and confirmation of the reboot trigger mechanism.

@lucianm5

I can match this setup request with hands-on reliability: (1) Embedded device/firmware readiness—I've deployed embedded nodes continuously and can follow your pre-configured “plug-in and go” instructions; (2) Hardware power management—my background in power electronics and safety-minded monitoring helps ensure 24/7 mains power stability; (3) Networking basics for always-on operation—I’m comfortable keeping fixed-line internet/Wi‑Fi connected and validating link status. You’ll ship 5 phone-based node devices; I’ll provide a safe indoor home/office location in Mexico with reliable AC power and stable broadband. I’ll keep devices powered 24/7, check connectivity, and perform an occasional manual reboot on your request. If you need a simple log of power/reconnection events, I can maintain that too. Please share your shipping timeline, device model/count, and the exact reboot request method (message/call), and I’ll confirm availability immediately.

@sophies51

You need a reliable Mexico-based host to keep 5 pre-configured phone-node devices powered 24/7 with stable mains power and fixed-line internet. The risk is downtime from power loss, weak Wi‑Fi, or forgetting periodic manual reboots. I can solve this by acting as the on-site operator: I’ll secure a safe indoor location (home or office) with dependable AC and consistent broadband Wi‑Fi, then plug in and keep all phones connected continuously. I’m comfortable with device handling and troubleshooting. When you request it, I’ll perform the occasional manual reboot promptly and confirm the nodes are back online. Since everything ships pre-configured, the job is operational reliability rather than reprogramming—still, I’ll treat the setup as embedded hardware deployment: stable placement, proper cable management, and minimizing connectivity interruptions.

@dominicp75

- Provide an indoor location in Mexico with stable mains power, plus reliable fixed-line internet (Wi‑Fi) coverage. - Confirm delivery address and the day/time the phones (nodes) will arrive so I can plug them in immediately. - Share any simple on-site access rules and the exact process for “occasional manual reboot” requests. I’ll keep 5 pre-configured phones running 24/7 at your home or office, acting as nodes exactly as shipped. My task is practical uptime: power, network connection confirmation, and a quick manual reboot only when you request it. Once the hardware is delivered, there’s no setup work required on my side—just proper placement near Wi‑Fi and continuous operation with a basic status check. To proceed, tell me your city/area in Mexico and your preferred location type (home vs office), then send the shipping timeline and any reboot instructions you want followed.
