This includes: 1. Creating an algebraic model to determine which plants and warehouses should operate and finding the optimal shipping plan. 2. Extending the model to include multi-product, multi-mode logistics considerations, similar to the two-stage logistics model. 3. Incorporating green issues by minimizing the environmental impact of facility operations and presenting a Pareto front of non-dominating solutions.
