Hi. I have experience importing data into mysql and cleaning it. I would implement this in python. As you already describe, I would process this task in a few steps: 1. Basic validation -> flag incorrect emails, phone numbers, empty fields etc ... so I have 1 file with a clean data set and one that needs further processing. 2. Check for duplicates 3. Import into mysql For this to work, I will need a sample dataset, and your MySQL schema. The python script will rely on a few dependencies: A library to read the excel file and one to write to mysql. There are variations here, I can batch the mysql queries and directly insert into a database, or write something that LOAD DATA can read (the second has the advantage of no mysql lib neeeded). Similarly, I can directly read excel or you export the excel to CSV and I work with that. CSV has the advantage, that I can use the native python csv reader. I look forward to working with you. I can have a first version ready within a day. The extra 2 days are for incorporating feedback, if I notice things in validation that can be fixed through logic. Similarly, there might be ambiguity what a duplicate is.
