Our company use Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD to draw and define what components that are included in our products. We want those components to be automatically specified in the excel list we use to set the product price through an off-take command, which we have for one of the products but not the oters. As of now, our engineering employees have to manually specify add each component to the price list and enter length, quantities etc. The excel list is already predefined and the logic will basically be "quantity and length of component X (defined in Visio) should be uploaded to Cell XY" in the predefined excel list.
We are also reviewing the entire construction and quotation process to see where we can free up time through automation like this, so we will post more projects that are related to this area. It is therefore important for us to find a reliable partner who can help us with these other projects once this first one is successfully implemented. The final scope of this project (and its price) might be revised based on discussions we will have with freelancer who get this project.
