I would like 9 power point slides made from some simple data, as described below:
I will provide data in cvs format. The data will have two columns:
There will be 4 sets of data. Each set should be transformed into two different (simple) visualizations on a Power Point slide. The slides can be black and white.
Visualization 1 (4 slides)
Graph of values over time.
Visualization 2 (4 slides)
Chart that shows PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF VALUES over time.
The point of the second visualization is to show that there may be a pattern in WHEN data is collected, independent - possibly - of values.
This chart should take the form of a single bar, running horizontally, divided into sections = 1 day. There should be no bars between the sections. Instead, each section should be colored either white (transparent) for "no data" or black for "data." The chart should be labeled with the dates along the bottom, by whatever interval is most clear (weekly or semi-monthly, probably).
Visualization 3 (1 slide)
This is a chart that shows the combination of all the charts in Visualization 2. As in Visualization 2, the will take the form of a single bar, running horizontally, divided into sections = 1 day. (Again, there should be no bars between the sections.) But instead of having only "black=data" and "white=no data," this chart will be shaded according to the following values:
Value 1 = Black = data collected on that day in all 4 data sets
Value 2 = Dark Grey = data collected on that day in 3 data sets
Value 3 = Medium Grey = data collected on that day in 2 data sets
Value 4 = Light Grey = data collected on that day in 1 data sets
Value 5 = White = data collected on that day in 0 data sets
Again, the chart will be labeled with dates on the bottom, in an easily readable format. Where there is a white (no data) section running more than 5 days, the starting date of this section shall be noted in the label.
Please respond with any questions.
