I have a demonstrated track record of scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, information management as well as making travel arrangements. In my present role as administrative officer for Maryland Global Initiatives Corporation, I provide administrative support for travel, bookings, accommodation, meetings and conferences for senior management, guests and project teams. I have enhanced efficiency in projects by supporting project staff and acting as a bridge between admin and project teams. I have been lauded as the first administrative staff to meet the deadline for submitting minutes and maintaining proper records. As a Central Administration Coordinator for RafikiwaMaendelo Trust, I excelled in supervising and coordinating administrative assistants and ensuring standard operating procedures were adhered to. I effectively organized travel for the management team and consultants, visitors and volunteers’ itinerary and bookings as well as managed donor correspondence. As a Program Administration Coordinator for the same organization, I successfully participated in setting up the department, which played a pivotal role in coordinating the organization’s activities. In conjunction with the finance and project teams, we prepared budgets, consolidated financial reports and ensured proper resource management.
