AI-Assisted Events Database Maintenance (Freelance, Ongoing) Overview We’re hiring a detail-oriented freelancer to maintain and expand a curated database of event creators, vendors, and the services they offer. You’ll research new vendors, verify details, categorize services, write concise summaries (with AI tools like ChatGPT), and keep everything clean and searchable in spreadsheets and our admin system. What you’ll do Research and verify vendor details (contact info, service offerings, links). Add and update entries in a structured format (Google Sheets/Excel and our admin portal). Use AI to draft clear, consistent service descriptions and standardize formatting. Tag and categorize services accurately for searchability. Perform regular updates (ideally daily) and maintain a running changelog. Follow a step-by-step SOP for copying/pasting and uploading data. Must-have skills Strong online research and data entry accuracy. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Comfort with Google Sheets or Excel. Basic familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for drafting/cleanup. Clear, proactive communication and ability to work independently. Nice to have Experience with event industry data (vendors, venues, services). Familiarity with data hygiene standards (deduping, normalization, tagging). Workload & cadence Ongoing engagement with a preset weekly workload target agreed in advance. Tasks are repetitive once organized, with a clear step-by-step process. You’ll provide brief status updates and submit uploads as you complete them. Compensation $60 per completed weekly workload. If a workload takes longer than one week, payment is made upon completion of that workload. Weekly payments are released once the agreed target for that week is met and uploaded. Important Note on Payment & Expectations This is a results-driven contract. By accepting this job, you agree to the following terms: No payment will be issued for any week unless clear, satisfactory progress is delivered. Deliverables must meet expectations and be at least 50% completed by the end of Week 1, with final completion and quality review by the end of Week 2. If expectations are not met, you acknowledge in advance that payment will not be made for that week’s work.
