Looking for office and business assistant. I need someone to help me with the hundreds of small to big tasks involved in developing a restaurant makeover and operational restructuring from the ground up.
Tasks include web-footprint, branding, implementation of new technologies requiring much data entry and content creation. Internet searching, reading, and sometimes summing up findings in reports, written and or oral.
Requires more than simple mindless tasks. Must be creative, solve problems Independently, be business minded, and hunger to be great at whatever you do.
I have been in the hospitality and services industry for 25 years, but never even worked in a restaurant... and now I bought one ;) Tourist season is starting and we are not close to where I wanted to be. Tasks to do still involve:
Analyze current menu in terms of sales, profit, need, presentation, and then Redo current menu to remove the bad and add new types of foods according to our business model and informed opinion on the POV of customer likes.
Digitize pics and descriptions for each menu item, ingredients and recipe items, up-sells, cost, price, etc.
This list then needs to be used to add items on as many online mediums, in full or in part (google listing, website, all social media especially Facebook, local listings, google maps, etc.... also in-house POS must be populated, physical menus designed and printed, digital signage designed...
SEO must be applied throughout process. Web analytics must be implemented. In house loyalty program will be heavily used.
Accounting must be maintained. Financial accounting experience a must, managerial accounting experience a PLUS!
Emails, calendar meetings and events coordinated. Organizational skills extremely important. Must be able to deliver a daily 12-16hr to-do list for me that has been scheduled to obtain maximum benefit to company and understand what factors to use for this assessment.
Must be able to listen actively and be able to ask the right questions at the right times, to get my driving vision, which will be evolving. Needs to be able to keep me on task when needed and allowed to create and plan and dream when needed. Needs to stop me from deviating and going on tangents for other ideas, future possibilities, and stay on task.
Salary will be dependant on work performance and psychological ability to empower my strengths and dissuade my weaknesses. The right candidate has a possibility of early profit (increase)sharing, and longer term share earnings.
The ultimate experienced candidate that is the exact fit could recessive up to 25% of the restaurant with GM position within 3 yrs.
