I need OpenOffice calc (.ods) spreadsheet that will fill with entries from other spreadsheets. It will be summary of all the spreadsheets and it will use data from other spreadsheets. The logic is that we have couple of directories with a number of spreadsheet files named [login to view URL] [login to view URL], [login to view URL] [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc etc... Each folder is someting like "My Data", "Steve's Data", "Annie's data" and similar in which every directory have same number formating (01,02,03,...) but with names of project within. Every spreadsheet uses same template, every spread sheet has fields like B7 for date, B8 for status and similar. As written before, I need OpenOffice calc (.ods) main spreadsheet that will fill with entries from other spreadsheets. It will be summary of all the spreadsheets and it will use data from other spreadsheets so i know without opening every single one spreadsheet to see what status and last date it has. I have just done exactly this and more for another client. Searches current folder and harvests data. Message me and I will send a sample. Hi, Your project sounds very interesting and simple enough and I believe that I'll be able to perform the task perfectly.
