We need an excel spread sheet with a drop down menu to switch between 2 manufactures that we use. We want to be able to choose one manufacturer or the other and then the sheet populates the information and terms for that particular manufacturer and contract. We have financing contracts that go with them and is different for each state (5 states), so we would need a drop down box to also choose which state the customer is in so it will populate the correct terms per that state. It will need to calculate tax, and financing options - which the financing rate changes on the term picked from a drop down (36, 48 or 60mo). The sheets are made but not functioning well - One of the financing contracts sheets was just converted into excel by an adobe image and it needs to be fixed and formulas put in...we need some drop down boxes made for options on our product. I would like to combine all of them for ease of use. Is this possible? I have attached a screen shot of one main contract page and the first page of one of the rental/financing sheets just for basic reference and have blotted out our address info. Thanks! T. p.s. Hi. I have recently created similar excel sheets. One for a consultancy company and one for a builders merchants. I can review the current sheet and automate as much as possible based on reference data e.g. if you pick a manufacturer name from a drop down list in a cell then the pricing is linked to that manufacturer. Anything which is linked to a manufacturer can either be prefilled or selected in a drop down list, I would just need any reference data related to product and pricing. I can also automate the tax calculations and any other financials calculations. Happy to share some recent work in a webex if required. I have many years experience of creating excel tooling using vba. if you are also interested in creating output based on the sheets and automating the sending of that in outlook or saving to a file I could also look to do that for an additional price.
