Drupal Site Cleanup & Fixes

My Drupal-based store, [login to view URL], is limping along on HostGator. Both the homepage and every product page are throwing visible error messages, suffering odd layout breaks, and in some cases buttons or links simply refuse to work. I also suspect the site has picked up malware—no security steps have been taken yet—so the whole installation needs a deep clean and hardening. What I need is a full audit, then hands-on repairs: update any out-of-date core, modules, or themes, eliminate the virus, and restore normal functionality and display across the affected pages. Drush, composer, database backups, server-side malware scanners (e.g., ClamAV, Maldet) and security review tools you prefer are all fine with me as long as the job is done thoroughly. Acceptance criteria – when you’re finished: • Homepage and product pages render without PHP or JS errors, with the original layout intact. • All current products can be added to cart and proceed through checkout. • No malware or malicious code remains; a clean scan report is provided. • Drupal core and contributed modules are up to date, with update report showing no critical patches outstanding. • Clear, brief summary of what was fixed and any future maintenance recommendations. I’ll hand over HostGator panel and Drupal admin credentials once we agree on the plan and timeline.
