I am in the process of building some database driven reporting software, written in Access 2013. I am building the forms, and have most all the tables already. I need help with the coding side, to make the software do what I need it to do. Some forms are written, but need help finishing the project.
The software, FluidFlow, will have an "administrator", or "user" setting for all personnel entries. If the personnel is an "admin" the Admin button will allow them to modify the employee table, such as, add, delete, or update the selected employee. The "user" will not have access to the "Admin" button. This part of the project is completed. The report is based on the current day. So, when the user clicks on the "New Report" button, all forms and fields will be blank, allowing the user to enter the new data, thus updating the appropriate tables. If the day is still "current", the forms will pre-load the last existing fields. When a new job is started, I have created a "New Job" Excel form. The user can fill in this form, and the software will allow the user to upload this form. When uploaded, this form must be put in to the appropriate table, so the new job can start. When all the forms are filled in, the field data will pull from the tables and insert in to the correct cells in the Excel report template. Some of the fields will need to be calculated, and the calculations stored in fields in the table. I have all the formulas needed to do this. I will need help coding this also. I will be adding charts to be displayed, based on the data in the tables, towards the end of the project.
