Milestone 1: Development of a Traceability Platform MVP using Django
Objective: The primary aim of this project is to develop a traceability platform grounded in Django. In this phase, we're concentrating on delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that encompasses the essential services and interfaces needed for a client demonstration. Aesthetically, the visual design will rely on a professional Bootstrap theme from Creative Tim, which has already been integrated into Django.
Work Environment: Development will be executed on our servers, using our designated Git repositories.
Completion Criteria: A project milestone is only considered complete upon the delivery of comprehensive deployment documentation alongside the developed code in the platform's Git repository. It's crucial to understand that without these, the milestone will not be recognized as complete. Proper code structure, annotations, and validation of the provided documentation are paramount for the project's success.
Note: We already possess a functional mockup of the platform and an initial database schema. In addition to integrating the components, developers should create template pages for the project. This includes primary pages such as dashboards, forms, data tables, and timelines, and secondary pages using the existing theme components. We also have an existing Django project with the theme deployed, serving as a starting point. Reference for the theme can be found at:
